It is a folder named "Old". In English it should be "An old subfolder" but I'm not English nor American and I never payed attention in school. I have the KUC folder, inside is the "repo" folder, and inside the repo folder there is a subfolder named "Old". That's where I put obsolete updates, but KUC prefers to take old updates over new ones Anyway it is solved now, but it was funny to see the odd behavior of KUC. Cheers.
I have used KUC 0.0.009.001 for Win8-systems, and Windows-Update shows me 2 missing Updates: KB976002 and (important) KB2758994 (IE-Flashplayer-Bug!). Are they not included in KUC or what's the reason for that?
You want KB976002 check the BrowserChoice option, KB2758994 was just released yesterday so be patient and it should be added soon
Okay, but before BC-Option was checked automaticly by KUC, if BC was detected. In my case, BC was not detected by KUC. Sorry(!), don't want to be impatient. I am just "wondering" - nothing more. I thought, KB2758994 was released longer before but you're right.
as ricktendo64 said, 976002 is Browser Choise, Since you do not have installed it, KUC for W8 does not select it auto. If you select it, KUC will install the LDR version. Then KUC will also add it to the Satify WU updates. I do not know why WU still offers 976002 as GDR if the LDR version is allready installed. 2758994 will be added in the next KUC version. I do not have very much time this week so wait at least up to Sunday. Maybe i add the new updates to the server quicker (but I will not remove the superseded once until next KUC is out)
I used KUC 0.0.009.054. Now I run Windows-Update and it shows me one missing update (from 09.10.2012): KB2756872 - 7MB (for Win8 x64) Now I'm a little bit confused...normaly KB2756872 has about 166MB and is always installed What did you say??
