I have a Lanner MB-7551 board which is retired from a recent unsuccessfully network project, it has 6 GE ports so it makes sense to me to make use of it for other home firewall/router project. However then I found the BIOS settings are locked by supervisor password, I can't get into the system to turn off the watchdog which will reset the system every few minutes. I have read a few threads in different forums and I think I will need to get a full dump of the flash chip from another board without password and flash mine. Or if I can change the watchdog switch setting in NVRAM and disable the watchdog ? Any help on this is appreciated. More information on the board: Winbond 25Q64FVS with a SPI interface I used AFUDOS to backup the BIOS and turns out to be a 6M file.
Did you have any success? I have 3 units and I am stuck with the same. Let me know if you have found any solution to this. Thanks
