Hi guys i,m trying to look at a laptop for a friend of mine as it was running really slow, its a toshiba satellite c650, its a windows 7 home os and I have just reloaded windows for him as i thought this would be the problem but its still running really slow even after a fresh install and very little software on it, have installed speedfan on it and its saying all is ok "well the cpu says 56c but dont think thats that hot? i,m thinking now mabey its his HD or Ram? anyway of testing or any ideas please guys?
i,m trying to run seagate tools for windows but it wont run with out service 4 on it and that wont seem to install tried scan disk and it wont run did a mem test and that come up ok so i,m thinking same as you its the hard drive
