Laptop Screen

    bad inverter %99 likely
    or motherboard has a loose capacitor or resistor (from drop) to power the inverter.

    u cant order a display adapter.. its soldered to motherboard. (graphics chipset)

    It is a pain to check for loose resistor / capacitor? I'm buying the inverter now.

    This is my last reply to this: IF you didn't check with an normal external Monitor, connected to the VGA Port of your laptop and not the HDMI port, to see that the MB is OK, you may spend more time an money as the whole is worth! The only real way to find out that is either the Screen (with all it's cable and also inverter) or the Mainboard, is the use of an external VGA (LCD or whatever) Monitor connected to the VGA port of MB because it uses the exact same signal's which also used by the Laptop's screen. The inverter is providing only the needed power to the Laptop screen and has nothing to do with the graphical signals send to the Screen or Monitor.
    If the external VGA Monitor will not display the normal outcome, than you've a problem with your Laptops Mainboard.
