Laptop won't boot at all horizontal lines across screen

    I am writing this on my iPod so apoligies.

    My laptop won't boot and when it triEs to it has lines on top of the screen'
    It wont boot on safe boot or anything at all.

    Pls help

    Take your battery out and try to reset your bios battery as well on the mainboard. When you did that don't plug the main battery back but use external power first to see what will happen.

    If this will not fix your issue then you have a hardware problem (GPU/Mainboard).

    What? How am I meant to restart bios battery? & main board too?

    WDF I click space bar and some random s**t and I am at login screen YES

    You didn't mention what type of a laptop you have is it an HP?
