Did take me some tries to get the file, but it works perfectly, thanks sebus. @LateShift: If you still have problems downloading, here are the diffs between the ZRM?FPP_EN and ZRM?SEL_EN.
Sorry about it, seems that MU has some mega problems tonight (and I do not have the file handy...) sebus
No problem, used MaJo24's file for patching, almost to easy with that program. MaJo24, what command do you use to make those patches with xdelta?
The basic command to create a delta file goes like this: Code: xdelta encode -s source.dat target.dat difference.delta You can see the full list of available options when you call xdelta just with the "--help" switch.
Thank you both This could be very handy for all the folks here on MDL who want's to pacth VOL XP to OEM
It probably could be. Of course the source disk has to match the hash for the conversion to work As a test I made delta of: Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition with SP2, Disc 1 - Volume License Version MD5 = 40d55fd575f023c23322231474c8cb22 SHA1=0d0cddd29fcf8ff7456a4be8ce15698eba90d1dc to Windows Server 2003 R2, Enterprise Edition with SP2 MSDN File Name: en_win_srv_2003_r2_enterprise_with_sp2_cd1_x13-05460.iso SHA1: EE11CC735C695501874D2FA123F7D78449B3DE7C and the CRMEVOL_EN-2-CRMEFPP_EN.delta came at expected 12.5Mb In fact with a bit of time we could have a delta of just about anything to anything, for Server 2003 & XP Maybe worth starting a separate project topic sebus
is there any ZRMPFPP_EN -> ZRMPSEL_EN xdelta converter? Windows 2000 Datacenter Server ? Windows 2000 Advanced Server Limited Edition ? Windows 2000 Datacenter Server Limited Edition ? or xdelta converters?
A, P and S SEL attached I don't have DataCenter in either FPP or SEL, perhaps someone else can help with that one?
Hi, sebus: Thank you for providing these accurate info. I have downloaded some Win2000 Pro SP4 iso files from the web, but so far, none of them has met the precise size of 386,859,008 bytes, not to mention the MD5 checksum. I guess yours is the original untouched Microsoft ISO image. Could you upload it to somewhere (say, rapidshare or hotfile) so that we could download the original image? I love Windows 2000 Professional, and hopefully, can get the original untouched image from you. Thanks in advance, cjohn
Tried harder, and got the url to mediafire to EN_WIN2000_PRO_SP4, but the link doesn't seem to work any more. The file doesn't exist, as told by mediafire. Could you do a double-check? If it is deleted by mediafire, could you upload it again? Thanks!
