Thank you, 0z! Using xdelta3 and the delta file you provided, the FPP image is successfully converted to the SEL image. The size, CRC32, MD5, SHA-1 all matches what sebus provided in his post. Perfect. Also, need to thank crypto for providing the FPP images, easy and fast to dl. Thank sebus for providing the knowledge of xdelta3 and providing the precise information on the original untouched m$ image information.

Yes, you are right. I'll grab the server ISOs today. And yes, I agree with you that Win2000 is the best in the M$ family, even better than XP in my eyes. :)

And agree with you in that we owe a lot to Majo24 for the help provided.

By the way, is there any untouched original ISO for office 2000 out there in the forum? Want to collect both win2k and office2k original images.

    Thanks!

Never seen any original Office 2000 in any shape or size anywhere, either in Pro (2CD) or Premium (4CD)
Office 97 is the same thing, all home made junk.

    Wicked, thanks Sebus.

Will snag them myself. Looks like line 3 and 4 is identical.

    EDIT:

    Thanks for last link.

CD1 is from a Pro set, CD2 is from Premium.
    Neither looks genuine to me.

Has a ROCKRIDGE_ACCEPTING_SYSTEMS file index on it
    Application name is: BUZZSAW 1

    So must be Chinese Holograms?

Very odd. had it been anyone but you Sebus, I would have screamed BS ;)

I have a copy of 09PRMCD02 SR-1 from a MSDN source, and it is done the standard way.
Since Pro and Pre sets are mixed together, some branch at MS much have borked things seriously.

Files are the same between "your" 09PRMCD02 and the MSDN I have, apart from one.

Delta to go from RR to MSDN attached

I think I have another Office 2000 original retail set, let me dig it out in the next few days

And BS it might be, I can only guarantee what I see, but then even some fake $ notes are better then original... so who knows...

Net shows the following info for MSDN Pro 2 CD edition:

    Code:
    en_office_2000_pro_cd1.iso
    CRC: A5E3561F
    MD5: 6E0FAE8907C130001162F31962098164

Yeah, seen reference to those 2 on Chinese boards, but never gotten a live link.
    Supposedly MSDN releases.

    EDIT:

I think we have gotten a bit off topic for Windows 2000 Server, but since it's "my thread" I guess we can go nuts ;)

Almost off to bed, but just checked one more place & I most likely have MSDN Office 2000:

    - Pre Polish all 4 CDs

All CDs made with CDIMAGE 2.39 (12/04/97 TM)

    O9PRMCD01

    CRC32: BA571B1A
    MD5: 9617B63458BAA6883E6C236DF5A01622
    SHA-1: 04BF43DB38A28B70A8C59E993D340B2FB0DADB43

    O9PRMCD02

    CRC32: 53DA7507
    MD5: 896BA3585997D621041AA48D2080AAE5
    SHA-1: 09D6CAF69BD4F616BD946736E5365A8BB1CCD1CF

    PD001CD1

    CRC32: 045D01BE
    MD5: 2FD009AC494F900F904C5D47D5DAC4F0
    SHA-1: E2D1B3E88784D1F854868DDD0BE50205F9E1D458

    PD001CD2

    CRC32: 0927B57B
    MD5: 9C0A612EBF0D4CD1900B1F01ED059953
    SHA-1: D8B5CA30D7992C41BB322BB442793781D6D72050

    - Pre Italian CD1 - O9PRMCD01 made with CDIMAGE 2.39 (12/04/97 TM)

    CRC32: FFFFFFFF
    MD5: 358CADF50D0B8CEE2A14AA9E1F667D3C
    SHA-1: 2A6D6F803C609DA85782EFE763FA6255D2D94BB6

Why would the last one have auto-crc & the rest not?

That is the ting with Office 2000., many inconsistencies.
You have checked for padding with the Polish one?

I'm still not convinced the ones with the RockRiot file systems are genuine.

I have CD2/3/4 English from a MSDN source, and all 3 have AutoCRC
CD1 is the Holy Grail, not to be found.

    EDIT:

CD1 from Office 2000 Premium Hebrew

    HE_OFF2KPRO_CD1.iso

It can not be Premium, as the name states Pro...

Polish ones have lots of 00 at the end but not a single PADDINGX (at the end)

Of course, what I meant to write, Professional CD1.

If you strip off all the 0's you will probably end up with ffffffff for the Polish ones.
Not yet seen a Office 2000 discs without AutoCRC, at least not one done with CDIMAGE.
