    I got everything what your 1st post suggests after installing the codec pack but have a little problem with the color adjustment , while playing movies, that's why I don't prefer this WMC and use VLC instead. The color is all the time reddish although, I adjust it every time, while watching a movie but it remains the same....no change.
    Is there any secret adjustment with the player that I didn't find?

    How to enable/show subtitle with .mp4 videos? I have .srt files. My subtitles work with vlc but not in wmp.

    my understanding is mp4 doesn't auto-load subtitles. vlc must have a work-around built in. If you have a few mp4 files with subtitles, I suggest remuxing the mp4 to mkv (read MKVToolNix).

    hi, i'm using this pack with satisfaction, but i've seen that with flv files if i try to jump from a time to another time with the time bar file start from the beginning. it's possible to solve this? Thanks in advantage

    Added:
    Disable AVI for Media Foundation
    Prefer LAV filters for MP4 & DivX/Xvid
