HAHA sometimes it gets a bit too serious here...okay you got me...I used to have unlimited on my phone, but since I became disabled I hardly used it since I did not need it for work and all my traveling...have pretty much a basic cell phone plan these days.
welcome to the disabled club it sucks for me i have a cyst that impairs me from walking to much and working also my autism does not help
YES FOR THE 15th TIME YOU CAN DO A FULL IN PLACE UPGRADE AND KEEP EVERYTHING. You have to edit the pid.txt file in the sources folder. Use Notepad and change the pid to the pro version key, save. THEN Install. I am not gonna explain this anymore I did it last night, I provided the steps and all in several previous post. as did a few others after I confirmed it was that simple and worked.
Been a card member for about a decade...should count myself lucky since I have 2 terminal incurable illinesses one of which is cancer.
Think we might of just done that...redirected the drama to something people really can't comment about. Anywho...I went to bed shortly after my full in-place upgrade, I really am still having an problem believing that MS has finally gotten the in-place upgrade process so right. This is my 3rd in-place upgrade in a row, and so far so great. Minor annoyance is if you use multiple screen during the install process, after each reboot it changes which monitor is primary. Only reason it is a annoyance and it is a personal one so no points off is my 3rd monitor is also our big screen TV on the wall. Android TV so does turn off inputs when you switch inputs. So if I am watching TV and doing stuff on the PC it can put stuff on TV display and I might not remember. But boy oh boy does gaming and movies look great there from the PC.
@Wardocksrevenge I do have an issue and not sure if you can help. Can you install the latest version of 3dmark and run it? A new version was just released over at guru3d, I get an error trying to run it. In this win build.
in place upgrade worked well for me so far.. Win7 > Win10 10074 > 10122 > 10130 > 10134 and coming up next 10135
Another change I just saw...when I go to run didiag it no longer ask me if I want to check signed drivers etc. It just launches right up.
Since 10135, I don't have "settings" anymore in the menu whereas it seems to be ok on that screenshot... Only "All apps" and "Power".
Dang it that did not work either...3DMark - SystemInfo failure Initializing Futuremark SystemInfo failed. Please verify that version 4.22 or newer is installed properly. Fixed I uninstalled and reinstalled systeminfo with the systeminfo installer.
I've been suffering from the same issue since 10134. And the same applies to 10135. I go to Settings, I change it, and yet no "Settings" and "File Explorer" in the Start Menu. I haven't had this problem with previous builds, and in both cases I performed a clean install. I know we're not the only ones having this.
