Just upgraded to 10135 and now the wifi connect icon shows Limited. The wifi adapter is DLink DWA-140. I've never had any problem with it after several Win10 installs on another PC until now.
I have experienced that right from build 10122 till build 10130. Indeed, I thought it has something to do with setting the PIN in previous build, but I might be wrong.
Does this build have the new 10130 bug where if the taskbar is on the left or right you no longer get the usual pulsating glow on taskbar icons when they're trying to get your attention for any reason?
I can not verify my microsoft account with this build... when I click verify it open a window for a short time and then its gone
Control panel, administrative tools, down to Services, click on that, then down to Microsoft account sign in, right click, START sfc /scannow ADMIN prompt
This is clean install worked fine with 10130... also starting all Microsoft services did not help. must be some problem with two way security check... but I will not disable it
@Lobo Aye, it is a mess. But that one statement they made was in reference to a workaround from non genuine to genuine in their own words. They even state it is work around. If your running current Win 10 TP releases you can upgrade to Win 10 genuine as an insider. Now once you have done that...you can get the ISO with a key embedded in the iso if you need to reinstall...was in another part. So there is indeed a path from Non Genuine to Genuine using the insider program. Matters not to me as I have 2 retail keys from Windows 8 mess. As to the chart...it does not apply to the special free upgrade insider participants are getting. Consider that a special program on the side so of course it would not be in the matrix. I think they are trying to intentionally vague for the insider upgrade to prevent non genuine people from joining in mass. We just have to be the detectives and read from here and there from their official releases and put it all together as the right hand and the left hand lets clues slip not know what the other hand is doing.
Upgrading from 10134 to 10135 using DVD took one hour and 8 minutes, only to see wifi connect "limited". WTH, I clicked "Back to previous Windows installation" thinking that it'd take quite a while but to my surprise it only takes few minutes! Back on 10134 and wifi is working fine.
