Isn't that the game where wear helmets, heaps of padding, and tights? You know, because tights are always super masculine . BTW despite what other countries seem to think Rugby (League and Union) is really only popular in NSW and QLD. The biggest code of football in Australia is AFL (Aussie Rules), like here in SA. At least there is a lot of contact between the ball and the foot. That helmeted padded game you refer to should be called handball, seeing as over 99.999 percent of the time it never touches your foot. Takes more skill to kick it than to run it over a line, but running over the line is worth more? What's that thing about 'plays'? Oh look, left side of the field is completely free, but no, the coach said go right into the gaggle of other players, and since we're just overrated pawns I'll just do that. I'm not smart enough to have common sense, and even if I did and it was the only way we could win Superbowel, I'll get penalised if I did. Right it is. Sure the coach can give direction, but players need to adapt as well. It's almost as if the coach thinks they're not smart enough too. Even if they only get into college through football scholarships and not scholastic talent, I'm sure they are intelligent enough to adapt to the situation if they were allowed.
But still at first as of now, OS under, if you have retail copy of 7,8,8.1 Pro, you can put on different computer
Ironic that I used 'too' instead of 'to' after smart, that's just bad grammar. Neither are correct though, as 'to' is ending the sentence with a preposition. It's like 'getting started' in the Windows 8.1 installation etc, or 'configuring' for every part of the new Windows 10 installation. Must be designed by an ex American handball player.
most of MDL members know that you are capable of using appropriate/clean grammar and language and therefore I cannot see any reason for any kind of accuse in any way
I know . I'm patiently waiting for a new build ASAP, I foolishly installed build 10135 fresh install and it doesn't work too well. I broke the calculator somehow, just by using it no doubt, and now it won't load. Taskbar is semi functional, I can't right click on items, and the sound mixer doesn't show. Only way to show it is to right click and open the full mixer. Yes, right click works on notification area. Worst and most dangerously is the NTFS security descriptor issue on drives carried over from a previous install. They all end up with no ticks in the boxes and no command line method resolves this. It means you have to give it permission to write to the folder, which programs do not like. Removing existing user permissions means you lock yourself out of the drive completely, and you can't re-add them which you are meant to be able to do :S. I had to use a bypass filter driver for this, came in really handy! The issue relates to inheritance settings. Basically, it appears broken. Only way to fix it is to select to convert it back to explicit permissions, which you can only do one file or folder, then the contents of that folder, at a time. In other words, be vary careful. Chkdsk etc does not see that there is an issue.
i leave for one day...and the thread goes to hell by a bunch of grammar nazis wth guy? don't let those trolls take over.
Is it still counted as a grammar nazi if it is someone correcting themself? . It was more a result of being woken up at 0400 due to a possum (brushtail) outside my window, coupled with my frustration at build 10135, it really is a step backwards from 10130, and more what you would expect from a much earlier build. They're obviously not just working on bug fixes, I think they're pressing themselves to have it out by 29 July. I'm guessing there are currently a lot of late hours and weekends spent on getting this done in time! This isn't like an ordinary release of Windows, where it goes 'gold' on 29 July, but you don't see it in shops etc until say, September or October. Come 29 July, anyone on Windows 7 and 8.1 can download it, so they have to have it right from release. There really isn't the opportunity to have a large update between the time of going gold and public availability. What compounds this is the widespread upgrading from Windows 7 and 8.1, something which Microsoft hasn't faced before. The transition will need to be flawlessly executed. I'm not sure how many computers are eligible for the upgrade, but let's just say it's 600 million. If you have a 0.1 percent failure rate with something during upgrade that means that there would be 600,000 broken computers out there with people who probably have no clue on how to resolve any issues. Most people testing upgrading from Windows 7 and 8.1 to Windows 10 probably have done so on a relatively clean system, however most computers of a typical user out there on Windows 7 and 8.1 don't have well maintained systems. It will be interesting to see how successful it really is, and how many issues are resultant of settings etc being carried over, and how it affects software licences for other products on the system.
