i just updated apps on 2 computers i saw an add on one of them on the weather app,but now it's gone,no adds on both computers with the weather apps now,maybe they come and go.

 

this is what they mean by ads in this case for skype

 

That big white space is where the ad shows but, I know you know this

I see only Skype ads on 3 apps.

I don't see ads on news either, but then again I have a special hosts file to block ads in Edge also. I suppose that works with all Modern Apps! If you go to winaero.com you will find it.

 

Note: I'm still on build 10130. I can't disagree with your points because you are on build 10135.

 

Is anyone running this build with Local Account instead of Microsoft Account? Signing with Microsoft Account into apps doesn't work. Maybe someone found a workaround?

 

I feel like 10144 will be our new build which either released by MS or leaked by WZor on Monday.

 

Strange that on ms-vnext flight info, 10134 is still in OSG ring, i bet that an update will come out on page own monday.

Me too. I expect Microsoft to release a better Windows 10 operating system build soon. That's only the tech giant decision to make.

I think the reason you are staying on Insider released builds is you think it has to be from the Insider site to upgrade for free, sorry no cigar, you will be able to upgrade from any build, free, yes, but
The image will be activated, as they are now, but they won't be genuine.

The only way for them to be genuine is to have qualifying OS under Win 10 the first time you install.

 

You shouldn't be soo quick to assume why people stay on specific builds

Just because a leak may have a higher build number, doesn't mean it will have everything the actual Insider build has. It's best to stick with official builds to actually test what they want tested. Using leaked builds screws all that up because it may be missing something they are testing from another build. Different builds coming form different branches.

If I were going to take the assume route like you, I would assume that, with your post count, you would know all that.

 

Why does what you say matter when RTM is going to completely do away with previous OS and install a whole new one

 

Well just got that error on shut down on both my laptop and on my main system.

I use local account. trying to add apps from the store doesn't work for me. I get message wait a moment then it closes? I just tried it when I saw your post as I don't use it a lot. waiting for the next one.
