The problem of its claims is its security based on nothing, until now releases have always been accompanied by speculation, and never by certainties, but for quite some time, him, and some users like him, are sure of something so much to release links of some builds that, according to them, will come to insider, only to discover that there are new unreleased internal build.
Still video card drivers are not supported very well. Most of them are beta. Still sound drivers are not working for some. People have big problems. Search is not working as it should. These are issues that we can solve easily by just googling or asking here. But it is not for regular users. I have been monitoring the progress of Windows 10 for a long time. I cannot even compare stability between the firsts and the last. In my opinion, they must release insider builds more frequently and get more feedback in this timeframe.
And I add also that I have never had problems with drivers, so not all users should be included in his opinion.
with so many bugs and win 10 build not complete!!! should just work not half baked!! i have build 10130 but is not stable. critical functions of reset / refresh not working. what is microsoft upto yet on gabe aul twitter page they all seem impressed with what they are doing !!! we are given crap build to test out and they use fixed build on their own internal inside testing and using us as guinea pigs just to keep interest going in win 10. they need to step up a gear before they all lose their hair (and beards) !!! good luck for the 29th july at this rate!!! last chance microsoft pull your socks up and make a solid build and iron out all the bugs, you've got plenty of programmers!!!
what are your opinions on what is going on with bug fixing should be cracking on and managers should get the whips out and razors on the ready!!!
it'll be just the same as in the past they release a buggy build, call it rtm and then a month or two later they release a big hotfix package via windows update
Really? And what would you say about people who are testing canary builds now? Should they also go back to 10130 because MS want them to test specific features? Don't worry. You won't get genuine Windows 10 unless you have legit 7 or 8.1 installed under. Sticking with official build won't make you "politically correct".
From a Developer on the Windows operating system "Everyone in the Operating Systems Group at Microsoft can install any build from any branch of Windows. Since all the branches have regular checkins going into them and are accepting changes from other branches, sometimes the quality of a build may not be 100% (usually gets fixed very quickly) but these builds are expected to be like that since they contain the daily changes that either you, or one of your team mates checked in. These builds are also automatically installed on the engineering teams' primary computers regularly (1-3 days) so that the builds can be dog-fooded in Microsoft terms and bugs/issues that affect a regular user environment (vs forced testing of some scenarios) can be identified quickly and the product teams can solicit feedback of what worked and what didn't. (I work on the multitasking team - essentially whatever you see once you login to your account - if you send a feedback to us using the feedback tool, I'll have access to your comments in a few days.) Only builds which have gone through thorough testing/self-hosting and have been found to work without any major blocking issues are released to the Insider program so that we don't make installing/upgrading or using that build difficult for the members of the Insider program." That said, I don't give a damn if people is testing this or that, and I hate that "politically correct" thing, I have a lot of legit licenses for 7 and 8 AND I'm testing 10130, YEAH!
