Hi everyone.Excuse me a question: I downloaded and burned to DVD the build 14997.1001. I have downloaded from torrent. And so everything is right. But when I want to do the installation with DVD boot the same does not happen.Do you know if the build involves installing from DVD? Thank you all for the help.

 

I am not quite sure if I know what you mean. If you mean it is not booting, then what you do is take the install.wim from your ISO, and put it into the extracted 14986 ISO, and remake that ISO. Then you will be good. That is what I did.

 

Had to play with win2usb or zotac winusb to make an usb installation (in my case) and be careful with an unattended setup xml file, had to remove any "disk configurations" to force the setup gui asking how to format the drive, i had 4 partitions created if i'm not mistaken. I had 2x 500mb 1x 100mb and the Os main partition created ??

And to be sure in my mobo bios, i boot the usb ports firsts, otherwise i had install problems on my biggest computer (asus z87ws with 10x hot swap drives) or be sure to have one active drive in your system to make an installation from the usb or dvd drive.

About the ability to boot from DVD = Yes, it's dvd bootable
About the ability to boot from USB = Yes, it's USB bootable (i've just formatted the USB drive FAT32 and extracted the iso to it and it boots.
Both also worked with an autounattend.xml file which includes drive selection/formatting command.

 

ok that's right....now i look about the problem inside my platform...i had already set BIOS for first boot from DVD but evidently the system had not taken the lead in phase after POST.

is there a way to insert es-Es to the .Iso to preserve all app and configs, becouse i am trying to change the language in the version i am it 14987 and when i select English as default the PC suddenly reboot, and reboot in Spanish language, if anyone has this problem and can help I would appreciate it.

It can't add LP's who aren't released, so no.

 

Perhaps if we provide the script a LP of RS1, could it perhaps work?
