Finally got home from work, I'm behind everyone today, lol. Getting 600 kb/s on uTorrent, better than nothing! Hopefully it gets faster.
It might just be me being stupid or something, but do these ISO's actually offer a option to upgrade from a existing Windows 8 Pro RETAIL installation? I've got two systems running Windows 8 Pro RETAIL ENG, first of the Windows 8.1 installation wont accept any of my two RETAIL serials for installation, secondly it ask me if I want to keep Windows Settings, Personal Files and APPS. Judging by this it seems like it's going to wipe my entire installation and not do an upgrade like the Windows 8.1 Release Preview did so will it trash most of my applications as it only ask if I want to keep APPS (meaning Windows 8 Modern UI Apps I guess?) and not applications? And more importantly will I be able to activate using my retail serial after doing the upgrade / installation or will it start requiring new Windows 8.1 Pro serials instead of regular Windows 8 Pro serials like the one I have? If so how come Microsoft starts requiring new serials for what is supposedly a free update to Windows 8.1? All this nonsense makes it almost feel like a new operating system and not a update to an existing one...
yes, you have all three options, keep everything, only your settings or complete refresh. All my data and apps and settings were in tact on all three machines. Use the key ending in C9WKB for Pro 64bit
