LEAK: MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.1.RTM.X86/x64.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT

I was successfully able to install 8.1 but now Windows Media Player can't seem to play any time of video file whether it's .WMV, MP4, etc., I can hear the audio but there's no video. I can play video clips just fine in VLC player. Has anyone else encountered this problem since upgrading to 8.1?

 

There seems to be no german win8.1 pro version. Can i activate MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.1.ENTERPRISE.RTM.X64.VOLUME.GERMAN.DVD-WZT this with a original win8 pro key or do i need the pro version ?

 

Has anyone had an issue using their legit Windows 8 key to upgrade from 8 Pro to 8.1 Pro? It said my key didn't match the edition I was trying to install. I made sure it was the right key because I got it from AIDA 64 and checked my key.

Check for proper video drivers....

So far noone was able to neither activate Enterprise (it refuses to accept Win 8 MAKs) nor upgrading successfully without losing activation.

Seems that needs some server side request and answer isn´t given atm. Had no luck here likewise, tseted several of my machines.

 

So can you activate it after 8.1 is installed or is that a big fat no as of now?

 

Activate using Retail keys works .

So I just put in my Media Center key that I got from Microsoft about half a year ago and it seemed to have messed up my installation. It's saying that the key is blocked and when I tried entering in my legit Windows 8 retail key it says that the key can't be used to activate this version of Windows. Did I just bork my Windows 8.1 installation?

This version is even more increase of menu snappiness from Windows 7 final to Windows 8 final. Really enjoying this one. Almost feels like XP.

I can't seem to burn the x64 WZT, it keeps saying recording error. SHA1 and MD5 hashes are fine, my DVD can record Win 8 WZT just fine as well.. odd

 

Same here... I updated my desktops but my Surface RT, which is the one I use the most since it travels with me, still has no love.

I saw that WZ listed the RT 8.1 ISO on his first list. Hopefully he's able to leak it.

So what happens if you use the upgrade option instead of a clean install?

 

Just a heads up, if one has the Windows 8 Single Language key built into his BIOS, then installing this image as the core edition then trying to activate will NOT work. I just tried it and it failed. We still need a Windows 8.1 Single Language ISO

I then use the default Windows 8 Pro Key and reinstralled Windows, thenused my gnuine Windows 8 Pro key to activate over the internet and it worked fined
