did you check if when installing the pro metro apps are in german?

when instaling the original enterprise they are.

Okay, just wondering something: does it matter if you upgrade your Windows 8 to 8.1 within windows OS (by launching the setup.exe from the mounted ISO) or if you burn the ISO and upgrade without loading windows. (I am speaking about the upgrade preserving all the data).

 

I have read pretty much every page here and everyone refers to using the page 1 serial to install and then your RETAIL key to activate. I used my OEM key off my HP 3500 to activate it. That would be an OEM not retail. So it doesn't have to be RETAIL on the second serial. I went back to 8 thou as I saved an image because no antiviruses are reported to be working with 8.1 unless you want that Defender which is a virus as far as the world is concerned.

 

i checked all Editions on my Laptop, all apps in german!!!

 

Upgrade (called 'In-place-Upgrade) only works when started from within Windows.

 

Most people dont read the older pages but if you want advice in getting your 8.1 activated let me know

 

Hi, does anybody know, when WZR Windows 8.1 in german Releases? I must know it because i have to install my Computer new and so i would install Windows 8.1 instead of Windows 8. Is there are a temporal planning of the publication. ?

I want to upgrade, but it only shows me the "personal files" and "nothing" options when it asks me what I want to preserve. I have edited the cversion.ini, even deleted it and it doesn't change. I'm starting the installation within windows. Any clue of how to do this?

Hi, i know. But i have between 5-20 Profesional Keys. So I Need a German Professional Version.

 

Why don't you just install the English version of Pro and apply a German Language Pack, those are leaked already.

 

I dont take this way because the Basic System of Windows 8.1 is then in englisch.
