What do you mean, the LPs should translate everything iirc, except for the setup. You could even slipstream the LP into the iso, that way you can install the German version right from the setup Or, if you don't mind, you can just wait for a German ISO, WZOR will probably leak it sometime in the future...
yes and metro apps are still mostly in english when applying a language pack. reported a few times here. from french and bulgarian users too i think. i hope the AIO from chris19756 fixes that so that we can have real localized installations since wzor may take some time. if he even leaks german client? at least german client iso was by far the most beeing asked for around here.
If you set the language to German, apply that setting to all users, including future users, and then create a new account, the apps will be in German, or integrate the LP into the ISO(like chris19756), that way apps will be in German to begin with.
again: this has nothing to to with the lp pack. The Store server is not online yet to update the apps. Please read this in many of the comments I made today when done out of the English setup
If you don't want to go with Bavo's advice then wait for Core/Pro ISO as Wzor last message says "In general, gradually will place most of the pairs (86 * -64) client systems in different languages. Please be patient!" So now (remaining) localized ISO will start leaking.
i know how to do that and i tried it. i created new user too. not working. SOME are german then but most are english. reported a few times here with other languages too.
however installing german enterprise has ALL metro apps right from the start. so a localized client release would obviously fix the issue until GA if your right.
Installed using the default Single Language key then when I connected to the internet, I entered the key which I copied earlier that was built in to my BIOS using Belarc ADvisor and it activated right away over the internet
Let's hope he doesn't forget about RT Then, like Paul said, it must have something to do with the apps simply not being available in German in the store right now, if that's the case, I don't see how chris19756's ISO can fix that
i build the iso with dism and remove the english language pack, only german is in the iso, and all apps are german!!!
I went through the entire (?) UI to check if there are language bugs but didn't find any. The store interface is not related to lp pack and must be updated through the store itself. If you install your local version of W8.1 you are automatically set to your interface but you will get no updates since they are not available yet
Interesting, so DISM is able to convert all apps to German even though there are no German version of apps available in the store yet I guess Faikee might have a logical explanation for this, similar to how he explained about upgrading the preview and the 'dogfood' store... Oh, Faikee, where art thou?
Yeah, i was indeed wrong, I thought a volume key would give you a volume OS, like Office, but in Windows there apparently isn't any difference, I still learn something new every day
