    I wonder about the reasons why the Enterprise SKU of the German version was leaked before Core/Pro. Doesn't make any sense to me as you can't activate it, even legally. Maybe a political decision :D

    I think it's totally safe. Microsoft's unlikely to put us away for trying out a free update ahead of time.

    I installed 8.1 Pro incl Media Center, Office 2013 and activated both of them with my original keys.

    It won't help you. He's mis-interpreting what he did.

    His comment: "Offline Activation from Pro to WMC (No watermark or phone in required!)" is misleading.
    Offline Activation IS phone activation.
