Realistically it's not too bad, although that said you don't need anything too schmancy for the setup screen. I still don't like the terms they used: Configuring Settings, Setting up, Applying PC Settings, Setting up a few more things They've overused the word 'setting/setting', and there is no consistency between the use of capitals and lower case. For example, the first item they have capitalised both words, but the next item 'up' is lower case. So it's all about settings, right? Which part of the installation actually involves installing? What's the point of configuring the settings if you're going to sit on them for the 'Setting Up' step until you apply them at 'Applying PC Settings'. Of course, I realise that isn't the case, but it's right there in the setup stage description. 'Initialising installation', 'Installing files', 'Applying PC settings', and 'Finalising configuration' sounds much professional. It might be rather a minor point, but they have changed the setup screen to how it is in the picture to signify some element of class, the lack of refinement in the language spoils that. It's akin to dressing a bogan in an Armani suit.
The GREEK package guys never would we have called MUI and how many versions will come out the windows 10 in three months if I'm not mistaken come out right?
I hope people stick to version 9929 so that microsoft sees that they went a total wrong direction... but it is naive to think that would be even possible... i just hope that the new start menu gives me the possibility to drag and drop to places, that the icons get way better, that i can resize the small ugly windows button icon and most important: that it's stable and i can delete most of the new cr** they put in manually ... ... then i change my mind.... but there are more and more apps right now that you can't delete... and the photoviewer is one example... i hated the first versions of this app ... oh... we'll see... how it will work out...
I am having double mind about installing the leaked build. I would rather wait for Tuesday for a new build by Microsoft than waste my time on this one without Spartan browser. It's sad the leaked build wasn't released by those who have it in time.
Btw others have problems with VMware workstation on this build ? Nvm think it is a problem with the windows 7 operating system updating in the VM I guess 189 updates are killing the speed out of it
That's certainly more likely. People forget that we've been expecting quite a few Tuesdays (and Thursdays) in a row now as we enter the second half of March.... If it's this Tuesday, it's certainly not going to be the 10041 that someone mentioned, as it's only from two days ago. MS tests external builds longer than that. 10037 was from last Monday, 10038 last Tuesday, etc., but even those are cutting it a bit close for the extremely hypothetical (i.e. blind guess) upcoming Tuesday release date.
