On my Laptop Acer 4752G I dome an actual Image of the HDD with 9926 today and after that 'updated' to 10036 which needed 1.5h and worked well. All apps which were installed, working include Dragon 12! Still, the sign in with PIN Code not works yet. But, I've an problem with Chrome! Not one of my Bookmarks is working right now, means I've to uninstall Chrome and re-install again.
That must be a problem with your particular hardware/software configuration. 10036 with guest additions installed works perfectly fine here.
tomashoch Apps on another desktop are not longer shown in the taskbar OMG finally!!! Before the different desktops where a joke. There wasn't a point to them at all now I can have a desktop for work and a desktop for personal. Also I can make a desktop for projects I might be working on to have a sanitized work space until they are done.
Re-installed Chrome and that works now fine. As I using Businesscards-MX, I had to re-activate the apps. All other apps just working as they should. All my 3D Apps working with no problems, as SmartDraw too! I'm just using Windows 10 TP for to do same graphic works and 3D's as well as some PHP Programming. None of that apps having any problems. Also RAdmin works, still has the same problem as before not to show the Mouse Cursor if I connect from within the Desktop to that Laptop. But that's ok for the time being because the Developer is working on that problem. I didn't get any problem in that Start Menu (yet)! Anyway I hardly use it! That all said, for the moment all so far as it were already and no any more problems (yet).
Run this in a CMD prompt Spoiler Dism /online /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\PathTo\LangPacksFolder\lp.cab
I use TeamViewer for work and good so far, windows update installed nvidia wddm 2.0 349.65 new drivers also so far so good, only problems so far are mail calendar and people apps
You can rename the cab file to "lp.mlc" and run it. After, in control panel, choose your language (language options).
Windows Media Player and Xbox Video have some hitches when playing videos. I am suspecting them to be caused by lack of latest graphic driver - which, I am trying to install at the moment.
I fully disagree as bugs should be addressed in a timely manner in terms of being fixed within 30 days. Patch Tuesday is a concept invented by Microsoft which is fully arbitrary. Now as for Windows 10 in general the OS has no real innovation in it what so ever. I merely wish they would make Windows leaner and more compact in terms of eating space. Windows is horrible in terms of eating hard drive space. The OS consumes space just because of how it handles Updates. Along with that I feel that this makes Windows obsolete in terms of an OS as it really needs to get its act together. We do not need an OS that just looks different but one that is leaner and more efficient. Windows 10 as a whole lacks being lean and flexible in terms of customization. I would give the OS a lower rating than I did for Windows 10 because none of the UI changes make any sense in terms of functionality for the user.
The issue is STILL "prioritization" - what about that are you skipping over? Microsoft does NOT have "infinite" resources - like any business (or the government, for that matter - as much as they want to pretend otherwise) they have a finite amount of resources, and therefore MUST prioritize how to deploy those resources. Critical bugs are those that affect the greatest amount of users - those must be fixed first, Once those are fixed - and only AFTER those bugs are fixed - can Microsoft work on fixing lower-priority bugs. As much as we would want ALL the bugs to be immediately fixable, that is simply not possible. Not for any software company (be it Microsoft or anyone else - if a company says different, they are blowing smoke up your bum).
Are you kidding me? A multi-billion dollar company has limited resources? I find that a little laughable. As much money as MS has, they should be putting out a perfect OS, not to mention separate OSs for phone, mobile, device, etc.
