Did he explain WHY he wants to turn the 8.1 PC into a boat anchor? Is it the UI/UX? Something from the XP PC that no longer works? Other reason unrelated to 8.x? The biggest issue with 8 and later SEEMS to be UI/UX differences (the UI/UX didn't change much, if anything, from XP to 7). If you are putting the pointing device well ahead of the keyboard, the lack of a Start menu WILL throw you. (That is something I have been rather consistent on saying - not just here, but on Neowin as well - where I am also a regular.) However, admitting that you are pointing-device-driven seems to be almost a *sin* to admit.
I really hope that MS will allow transparency in the window bars like the start menu and allow us to control how "transparent" the transparency is.
GTFO and go back to Windows 7 or XP please. Or better yet stop using computers since you clearly have no clue what "Technical Preview" means... What you really need to do is go back to DOS since you can't seem to help Microsoft with constructive criticism in their Feedback Hub, you do not deserve to test Windows 10.
I compared them and can't see any difference. They look exactly the same to me. Anyway, why do so many people hate that recycle bin icon? I do not like the new icon set either, but IMO the recycle bin icon is still one of the better looking ones. What I find extremely distracting instead is the bright cyan and yellow colors in many of the new icons. I think most of the icons were actually acceptable if they turned the brightness of the colors a bit down.
see few posts above Code: 1. Unpin all bugged app from Start. 2. Get dev license: powershell -> Show-WindowsDeveloperLicenseRegistration 3. Check status: powershell -> Get-WindowsDeveloperLicense 4. Reset Store cache: Run -> wsreset 5. Open Store (green icon) go to %YouAccount% and restore Mail, Calendar & People.
It seems to be working. I can hear the Insider vault opening, a new build is about to get out...or maybe it is just my ol' bones creaking...
oh yes, the ol' bone thing starts again, it's perhaps WinHec starts tomorrow and brings us some new toys ... who knows
Just think how happy all the campers will be when the next build is released and it turns out to be Vista Ultimate...
No just windows 10 Super version v12 btw little bit off topic but checking windows update lately and how many windows defender can they put in an hour
nah, it will turn out that it returns to Longhorn ... ... and guys with short horns, simply stand closer
Calm the f**k down otherwise you're the one who should GTFO, I have clearly provided more feed back than you did, then again you don't know anything about me so stop talking s**t, I liked the first builds and I provided feedback ever since the first one and I will keep doing so because how can you even tell you don't know anything about me either, you are no one and you will remain a no one imo, I dont care whatever you say... So screw you too. P.S. I hate Windows XP.
