Not pointing fingers, however my system is very stable. From what I am gathering you either fall into one camp or another. One for no to very little issues to the other camp to claim it is buggy. However everyone must consider first this was not a released version but a leak. Second we are all running different hardware set ups, which I am willing to bet is the difference between stable and non stable.
I upgraded (from 9926 Enterprise) installed 10036 PRO x64 on the same WVware workstation (11.1) w/ a W10 9926 PRO host & installed the tools again after the 10036 installed. So far no hickups or problems. I used a DVD for my upgrade install & allocated only 2 GB of memory w/ a BIOS setup as it had before upgrade. HTH Edit: Oh ya, I had to jump through a few hoops to get the copy/past to work between the host & client.
Since there is now posting rules in effect that now hides content. I'm posting my first ever post. I tried 10036, but the first install it had a problem with my Microsoft Account so it created both a Local account and a Microsoft account. To use my Microsoft account I had to delete my local account to be able to use my Microsoft account with this build, I also had issues where my Microsoft account user was unable to unpin anything from the start menu, whereas my local account could. On a second installation, I had no problems using my Microsoft account and it only created the one account but for some reason I was still unable to unpin any of the default titles from the start menu. I have reverted back to 9926 for the time being, due to some issues I was facing so the leak build of 10036 is not favourable to me so far in my usual setup with Windows, it just felt so alien, hopefully it's just an issue with the bugs I was facing so if they return in an official release then I will be sure to give my feedback as I have done with some of the bugs I face with 9926 with the programs in the taskbar disappearing at times and I need to restart explorer or make a change in the start menu for my programs to reappear in the task bar. I also noted with the leaked 10036 build that if you changed your Taskbar from large icons to small icons, it would mess up the search box as it does not resize to a smaller taskbar and keeps it large size, this also occurs in 9926 but in 10036 the search box would stay on screen until a restart after making taskbar changes. Obviously since the build 10036 was leaked build it was expected to experience some weird bugs from when the installation finished and what I usually do after Windows has been installed, the user experience was weird to me and definitely felt like a beta build unlike previous official builds that felt normal after installation and setting up my Windows experience.
Still having problems getting past the Account Password setup screen. Says 'Something Went Wrong' and hangs. Have tried several different downloads with same issue. Anyone else having this problem. I can trick it and get to a logon of Defauluser0 but don't know what that password would be. :-(
The only Win10 desktop icons that I really don't care for are the folder icons. I mean, look at those things...! Uuuuuu-u-u-u-u-ugly... Seriously, would you buy folders that looked like that? What I don't like is that garish, darker, canary-yellow they mix with the "vanilla" yellow--the lighter shade of yellow is very close to what you might expect to see in an office folder--but that darker, mud-yellow sort of clashes with it--it just doesn't appear "holistic", if you know what I mean. Sort of a "Frankenstein" of office folders...!... Other than those icons, the rest of them are fine, imo. Just something about those folder icons that jumps right out and grabs me by the throat. Ugh.
and imagine all that is still hidden in PM's that if you are a contributing member, could also obtain. Onions have many layers, keep peeling them back, you will get there haha
