OEM contacts to certain friends is not like it was in the past. Actually we don't get real news from uncle WZor except some new screens from his partner friends
I predicted that a month ago and I think it has to be no later than then. PC makers have to start making the PCs that will be on the shelves July 29th when the big splash occurs and they need time to do it. Even MS will probably have the surface pro 4 ready for the 29th but that is just a guess.
Sure that if the date is real, Microsoft employes are working like a mules to ensure a stable and bug free build.
I think MS dont have a stable windows 10 version on 29 july and most people i feel stay on windows 7 & 8 versions.
Unfortunately the definitive date has been given, and along with it the tool to secure a copy of the final version, so it's almost impossible that they will delay the release.
