via kms use toolkit or do it manually with the kms server wzor posted (if it's still up) has anybody tested picokms? could still work i have to agree the latest server build has already many things that don't work anymore because windows ui relies to much on the metro crap which means you'll have to have the whole metro crap running just for a few stupid things like tray icons and I haven't seen a build of client windows 10 that had a reliable networking management in modern settings, especially the wifi is flaky it'll probably take another version of windows before they are forced to repair the old control panel as an alternative for people that like efficient settings
People hate change is all...everyone hated win 8 start menu changes, and people will now hate win 10 start menu changes. TBH I hated the change at first in win 8, until I got used to it, then I loved it.
Nothing to do with hating change, it's to do with change making things less efficient and more annoying Which is what 8 did to 7 by removing the menu
Not to mention all the Modern Apps crap (for touch devices) and the aforementioned different looking and hugely spaced out text when you click Power.
You must not remember the horrid Windows 7 start menu where you had to weed through all sorts of stuff until it filled up your screen. Customizing it was a mess, and if your mouse happened to slip off it by just a pixel or two, it would zap right back down, and you would need to start all over again. What a PITA that was!
Exactly, it seems the people defending the massive childrens colouring book, are the ones who need schooling themselves
I think you're remembering wrongly, 7 menu was the same as Vista, completely efficient , not designed for kids
Windows 7 start menu blew. I created multiple tool bars, and kept my programs there. In fact all the start menus sucked until Windows 8/8.1/10. I remember VERY correctly.
there are so many people that are used to folders, right click and executables you take all that from them and force them to use an os which is more like ios you get your programs from a store, instead of downloading or copying them from wherever you want you can't even decide where they are installed you have also no say on where your files are stored it's all a scheme to dumb the users down and make it easier to control them the next generation of users will be a big bunch of idiots and ms won't have to worry about pirates and cracks or even alternative start menus idiot sheep will just eat what ms puts on their plates
I don't like settings to be honest But why do they have to have control panel. It's confusing To activate Elevated cmd Slmgr -skms kms.xspace.in Slmgr -ato
