    Why not find install_wim_tweak and stop fooling around?

    You can use it to remove some packages, and to judge whether an image is fake.

    e.g. I use the following infomation to judge whether the Simplified-Chinese 10176 is a fake or not:

    Code:
    "Visibility"=dword:00000001
    See? I use it to repack an image with the latest updates.

    And to change time stamp, look

    Code:
    "InstallTimeHigh"=dword:01d0b7cd
    "InstallTimeLow"=dword:b98a1580
    In this way, your ISO may look like RTM.

    I would never know. For I am busy learning and replying to help someone.

    Actually I was almost to be banned for deleting my own posts so often.

    You told me once that you are very good at making ISO.

    May I ask you a question? How to add a language and make it preinstalled, so I can remove the old language.

    You are gone.

    You might lose opportunity to learn my secret, you know. I sometimes leak my secret, you never know.

    Yes. I heard people frequently hassling about this issue - why old language retained? I wanted it totally changed so as to upgrade to the new language.

    Online, not offline.

    Ah... You did not tell me it will definitely lead to a no-go, did you?

    Look. Here is en-US Windows + zh-CN language pack.

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MUI\PreinstalledLanguages\en-US]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MUI\PreinstalledLanguages\zh-CN]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MUI\UILanguages\en-US]
    "LCID"=dword:00000409
    "Type"=dword:00000091

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MUI\UILanguages\zh-CN]
    "LCID"=dword:00000804
    "DefaultFallback"="en-US"
    "en-US"=hex(7):00,00,00,00
    "Type"=dword:00000092
    To make zh-CN as preinstalled, so as to be able to remove the old en-US, we need it to be as

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MUI\PreinstalledLanguages\zh-CN]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MUI\UILanguages\en-US]
    "LCID"=dword:00000409
    "Type"=dword:00000091

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MUI\UILanguages\zh-CN]
    "LCID"=dword:00000804
    "DefaultFallback"="en-US"
    "en-US"=hex(7):00,00,00,00
    "Type"=dword:00000092
    And restart for it to take effect. Then you can remove the old en-US.
