even when I have Cortana on, she never talks to me . You giving her the virtual D? Also you can turn her off
Interesting that it will be uploaded to the store on the 27th..I wonder if that means it will be available on the 27th and I wonder if it will be visible in the Windows 10 store. If I remember correctly once you upgraded 8 to 8.1 it was no longer there to see. That makes me wonder if the people on 10 now and not part of insiders will be able to upgrade without an ISO or even with an ISO if they didn't first come from 7 or 8. All these questions to be answered soon.
Do you think we have obligation to upgrade Windows 7 or 8.1 to Windows 10 for for that activation is validated. Where if we can directly update with an iso and back the activation key once iso installed.
Not to mention if it's in the store on the 27th there is certainly no reason to remain an insider if you are only doing so to get it earlier than anybody else.
How this build will react with future Windows updates ? Will the KMS v6 be updated ? Will we be able to transform this build into a RTM-like system (Windows files patched) ?
*shrug* This build wasn't released. We have no idea how it will behave in relation to Windows Update.
I've heard that it was home only, but I've also heard that Enterprise is the only one you can opt out of updates, so I don't know.
Windows update fix for this build: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability] "FlightingOwnerGUID"="b50ee7b4-0950-4d85-a3fd-6ebacb96e335" "EnablePreviewBuilds"=dword:00000001 "BranchName"="th1" "UserPreferredBranchName"="th1" "Ring"="WIF" "ThresholdRiskLevel"="low" "RingBackup"="WIS" "ThresholdOptedin"=dword:00000001
didn't give me the th1 option hmmm...it didn't merge the first time, let me reboot and check it again still no good, the key is there in the registry but the option in advanced is not
MS cannot release a patch for the old KMS v6 of this build. So, if future updates will work with this build, it could be considered as an ultimate 64-bit Windows 10 Enterprise with KMS v6 edition (easy to activate, the target of warez) and many releases of this build with different languages will grow on the web. This is a bad thing for MS to not to react about it. I doubt that they won't block updates for this build, or they will do something to prevent users from using this build on the long term, because it's a real Free Windows 10 Enterprise for life. Or maybe it's a target build, wildly released by MS to expect all hackers to use this build and trap them all... Aahhh... Conspiracy
I doubt MS cares yet, as currently, all users using W.10 are activated regardless. Once October 1 hits, ALL current Insider builds will be deactivated and stop receiving updates. Since 10176 won't get build updates (and even if it did, they would have KMS v7), then MS will just quietly stop updating it.
