Just thougt about it and made a reinstall. Try this: Add a ei.cfg to sources folder and add the professional version to it: Code: [EditionID] Professional [Channel] Retail [VL] 0 that fixed everything for me
After installing the build from Paul's thread I can confirm that my computer can now be turned off properly.
If by broken you mean the option isn't even showing then yes. At least that's what I saw right before my x99 rig started BSOD looping because of the damn bug they still haven't fixed.
Hi, I send you a private msg since I'm not allowed to post links Check the links - I manage to fix 2 times my installations of 10 Preview, when experience broken Settings or Metro apps. First time it was my laptop after upgrading from 9860 to 9879.. Now it was my PC going from 9879 to 9901.. Most of the simply running windows Metro / store app troubleshooter helps. You can give a shot to Tweaking.com - Windows Repair (All in One) - it save me in one of my installation. I can not see any pattern when metro application are broken until now 6 upgrades (in-place ) on 3 different machines and no installation is the same like the other, but this is preview, so I don't expect perfection.
well cortana has just worked for me once....every other time u ask it something it tells u..... something not right. try again in a little bit.....or tells u....Sorry, i cant do this for u right now. check back again after future updates. for me the only thing cortana understands and works is if u ask it to open internet explorer thats the only thing it does or understands...i guess thats still in the works
Try upgrading your motherboard drivers or video. I had the same issue with 9879 - sometimes it's shut down / sometimes just restart the windows, few times just turn off the screens and PC continuing to run. After upgrade of both chipset/motherboard driver and video everything was fine. This can be a coincidences, but doesn't heart to try.
Thanks for the suggestion. I fixed the issue by doing a clean installation and used the build from Paul's thread instead of the one from MEGA.
I can confirm that the ".Net 3.5 Framework (includes .Net 2.0 and 3.0)" does not install at all. Anyone came up with a fix yet?
dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:f:\sources\sxs replace f: where your installer drive is located, does this work?
