Next problem: Net Framework 2.0!

I would like to run Moborobo andf that need Net Framework 2.0! I was try several way to install Net Framework 2.0 and 3.5 and the Net Framework 3.5 64bit which has Net Framework 2.0 and 3.0 integrated and none of them works. The install starts fine and short before finish it rolls back.

Anybody has any Idea?

Upgraded to 9901 build, quick read of thread, so is anyone getting the Metro apps to work (Store, News, Weather, Settings etc, etc)?? Every time I try I just get an Explorer.exe error message saying "Invalid value for registry".

 

i had the same problem with my apps not working then i downloaded this tweaking.com/files/setups/tweaking.com_windows_repair_aio.zip
open it and just keep hitting next until you reach the start repairs, open that and uncheck all then check the 2 that say windows apps and run it, it will tell you to restart, go ahead and restart and it should work.

Thanks. That is interesting, actually. I wonder if that is the magic key that would have worked to activate the leaked 9888 build. I remember lots of users having issues installing that build with the normal Preview keys.

 

The Technical Preview and the one for Enterprise can be used to activate.
The for Consumer key is the default installed key Microsoft uses for that SKU and can't be used to activate it.

 

I didnt use any key, but my installation says expiry 15/4/2015

Hey what i did was write the image to a DVD & upgraded from 9879, it took a while.

I must say 9901 is faster than 9879, gettin into desktop is fast in 9901 boots instantly with normal HD no SSD here

 

Could anyone get working the windows update ? My windows update only has "advanced option" text.

 

even if you used a key the outcome wouldn't differ very much

 

I guess it was turned off, the reg edit is somewhere to turn it back on, it works , it is in this thread I think

Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I followed this 100% and still nothing in 9901 works. Neither Store or Store (Beta), Calculator, Settings, etc. None of the Metro stuff works at all in 9901, I'm afraid. Thank you for your time though.
