That is very correct. Even Microsoft stated clearly not to use it as the main OS, but it is in anybody's own prerogative to do otherwise. I have always used all Windows Technical Previews as my main OS 'cause I have a spare system for that. It gives me the best experiences when finding bugs and running third party applications.
Already mentioned at the first page... EDIT: add the line above to your .vmx config file in the VM located folder.
Apparently, Microsoft must've opened some Cortana server, because speech finally works. Remind me, etc, it all works.
Anyone else has problems with the settings app? It doesnt open for me and if it does, the whole system freezes
R.I.P. Calculator (calc.exe). No longer in Start menu and cannot run the calc.exe in usual location. Looks like they are deprecating more than just the Control Panel. Windows Updates no longer allowed through Control Panel, must use the modern Settings. Although I must say, Settings is shaping up nicely. I dreaded it previously. The new theme is quite enjoyable as well.
Not yet. Getting my EMET and other security goodies going first. I had to download offline Chrome installer to work.
Can someone confirm if the GUID, explorer.exe stops working when watching full screen videos or movies using a media player, such as MPC? Edit: I mean it stops displaying correctly, and the only way to fix it is to restart explorer.
Another leak and it's again Pro version I'm stuck with Enterprise 9879 build...and I don't want to perform clean install.. always do a in-place upgrade which is bad I know
Thank you for pointing that calculator issue out, although, it is a Technical Preview. There are good calculator apps in the store with beautiful looks that you can use than the old default one.
