Nice list, pretty much covers most of what I've seen. Definitely a lot of new stuff considering this is an M2 build.
It is a lot indeed. I don't expect much new features showing up soon too but more of bug fixing in the future builds.
◾Don't forget the entire new search panel ◾Where can we enable this, sounds interesting ◾No. Other than that, thanks for the list, it is very helpful!
Not merely running it, Chris, but entering this post from it (Hyper-V 3 guest/Server 2012 host). So far, I have the current versions of Firefox and uTorrent installed (along with Office 2013 VL x64 Pro Plus). It's one of two guest installs (the other is in vmWare Workstation on the Windows 8 side of this dual-boot rig). As to why vmWare on Windows 8, that's easy enough to explain - no SLAT support, and the install grenades in Oracle VirtualBox. My resolution is 1600x900 in the guest (no, no guest support installed).
Could lead to new features but for now it doesn't says much.. So for now irrelevant to normal users and relevant for people who like to know such things..
@Chris123NT, can you please post actual day to day use on this build? if you did so already, can you just say to go back to the threads where you posted your experience? no big deal..
The option is now always there in settings, but it doesn't just work for all hardware without an additional driver. As an example, the panel shows on a Surface Pro, but it doesn't actually do anything there.
Hmm, that's odd because it did showed up for me when I made a full dual boot and not a VM. Might be it works out of the box for me because since it's a newer build...
Like I said, it displays the control panel, but the setting doesn't actually enable anything. I'm also dual-booting on my Surface Pro.
Probably work in progress in there. Compare the control panel of 9364 with 9369 and it shows lot of difference. Can say it isn't working fully smoothless on mine build either..
Anyone enter Safe Mode successfully? I had no problem getting into safe mode after entering code "bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy" from administrator cmd in build 9364 Now in build 9369 there's a popup window at the end of the safe mode boot that states: Explorer.Exe Application Error The instruction set at 0xa9d6b510 referenced at 0x00000002 Click OK to terminate the program. Clicking OK doesn't terminate the popup. It won't go away. The Safe Mode boot won't complete.
The kernel itself is fine. I suspect Explorer is crashing in safemode as a result of something within explorer possibly depending on a service that cannot start in safemode. My bet would be something network related.
