VMWare Player. Build 9374 doesn't run on VirtualBox, you get booted with an error message (0x0000005D or 0x0000005B, IIRC)

 

negative: here it runs on a pretty weak box without any problems

 

Build 9364 and 9369 run for me, too. But not 9374.

 

again: here it does. If you like to see pics, I can get you some off my box but I believe that I'm not the only one who plays a 74 on VMware

Please re-read my post above, Sir. I proposed VMWare Player to be used for the leaks because Build 9374 does not run in VirtualBox! It runs pretty in VMWare Player.

 

I'm sorry but I overlooked the VirtualBox. I was just on virtual machines with 74. As I do not use the VBox I assumed it'll go there as well. I'll buy you a drink some day

 

that's fine if youre only using one machine

 

i was able to update photos app, mail, calender, people. messenger apps in 8.1 x64

 

VBox' stance is: We don't care about unreleased stuff. So, probably, we would need to wait until they fix it for the RTM.

Thank you all, im not noob in computing and "stable" windoze, but now im noob in this situation with leaks and betas, this is new to me, so this is not upsetting me, all of us were sometime noobs! we learn in time I already know about the virtual box/ VM because I run mac os apps, So the RTM if I understand right will be out somewhere in June? or maybe leaks faster? will that be at least a good beta? so I can still keep on eye here

I get a BSOD on 9374 almost every time I shut down my computer haha
