Kiosk mode is still very rough around the edges and can be easily circumvented (Ctrl+Alt+Del, task manager, close embeddedapplauncher.exe). The start screen, app switcher and charms bar are all still there and fully functional, but as soon as you navigate away from the one allowed app it is brought back to focus. This needs some more polishing..
That's the key I had to change to, the one that was default was a Vista Business key for some bizarre reason
I also wondered when installing, no key was asked for. OK I let it run to the end, changed to VL and activated
Yea no key was asked for either but MTK failed to do anything until I changed the key to 9369 key, then it activated fine, before that it just hung on 'processing' or something similar
when looking after the installed key everyone can see the last 5 numbers and easily detect that it is not the VL key. So change it and done
MTK only activates VL version of Windows/Office so when you enter the key Windows becomes VL so MTK worked... PS: its not 9369 key but Windows 8 Release Preview Key which Surprisingly worked on these leaked Builds.
Yup, actually MTK gave me 2 different keys, one Vista Business, and another key that was probably the default install key
So where is the relevant 64 bit version? 32 bit version gets leaked without 64 bit by its side? Blaspheme!!
aahh come on. If everything went fine the first day, MDL could shut down and fun were gone. MS keeps us swinging by giving us the right dose for entertainment and by this way, they are learning from us. Finally they try to sell it to us > error
