Nice question, this is still adressed to Microsoft Partners only and not to the public . Activated or not it will stay a timebombed Eval. Not recommend for use as a productivity system, better manage to get Win 8 RTM activated.
lol ... at this moment it is quite unfinal as no RTM is available but fall will tell how it feels ...
The more I play with 8.1 - the less I like it .... but then when your 70 plus ... PS: please be careful when you voice an honest opinion about 8.1 - you might loose something... M$ is getting pissy now a day.
really ... I feel it is moving away from 7 finally or constantly to something else. This 8.1 certainly is no 8 any more as it was supposed to be. Currently we see a hybrid of something being transferred to 8/9 or what ever. Honestly I enjoy it ... lol
Not much point in photosynth on a desktop, apart from viewing other photosynths, which you can do from their site anyway More evidence 8 is not for the desktop
visually and practically a 64 will not be much different to 32. Only the ram might be affected a little bit
8.1 definitely is an improvement over 8 so far, I just hope they go a little bit further to really seal the deal.
waiting at least for the final previews both x86 and x64 prior to RTM to get the rig flying with a 48gig load of ram on my little xeon box
I never thought you'd go back to 7 after all the 8 builds you ran. Although formatting every day probably got boring after a while . 48GB? Damn man, now you got me jealous, you beat my 32GB lol.
I have a good old lenovo Workstation S20 here among other boxes and this one allows 48gig. I loaded it just for fun to the limit and this is quite awesome ... lol
