Posting shots just makes people start PMing you en mass begging for you to give them stuff lol, so not posting is a good move.
VMWare addons probably will work seeing they did with the previous betas. I will give an update as soon as I can install it in VMware unless someone else has tried it out.
I installed this leak and still have some of the same problems as with 9374 and 9369: Using to open News from Start Screen, it opens, it will close after use the either the slider or the Mouse wheel to right at latest at 50% of the available news Open, let say: Weather, it opens for about 2-3/sec and than directly close again Could not run WEI and it doesn't matter use the Windows Drivers or the Original drivers, even the error messages say's it's driver related This are the first error I found do far but used that leak just about 10/min! And just for to note: I did install on it's own HDD and didn't use any VM.
Wow that's weird, I don't have any of those issues. Although on 9369 half of the metro apps flat out wouldn't load. This build seems fine in that regard so far.
Funny thing is, WEI rates my vmware setup as 6.9. It even lists the HDD as a 7.2, even though the vdi is on a standard HDD, which is rated at a 5.9 on a native install, IIRC. I am using a SSD for my host OS, though, but you'd think the location of the actual boot image would matter more.
Anyone managed to install Office 2013 on this build? The progress bar of the installer won't even load... the process just hangs there...
I don't have a problem with that! I'd just installing Office 2013 Pro now and all went fine. It was stop about a minute on the same place of the slider but HDD was working. I used Virtual CD 10 for to install using the default settings. Also Virtual CD 10 works well with now problems. After posting this post, I'll use MTK2.43 for to activate and I believe that will works fine too. The only problems I've with build 9385 till now are all Start Screen Apps related, on desktop all works (till now).
Setup Windows 8 Pro Preview 9385 Now I've to start to setup all those small apps which need to do some of the work. Also the screen recorder, normal capturing and more. That will take some time because I'm in my Office and have some normal work to do as well. But the first impression now is: unlike the other builds, this one is working ages better. OK, still have the same problems with Apps on Start Screen but those I normally hardly use. I use to start the important apps from the Application Bar and the other's I need to work with from Desktop. For the Desktop I place a new Toolbar and so everything is handy to use. I don't miss the old Start Menu any more and also didn't wont to install a new 3.party menu. The funny part will come at the moment I like to test very old apps from the 90' so I could still use my old graphic layouts. Also that old apps are very fast and, as I had used them a lot of years, I could work with them "while sleeping!"! OK, let see how all of that will go!
