Most people use a Hack:

StartIsBack

DWMGlass.dll

UxStyle

Custom themes

Watermark removers

and many more.

 

SiB and AeroGlass use native system files to redirect some functions to their DLLs, no system files are touched/altered.

UxStyle runs a service which is manipulating the process in RAM, also no system files are touched/altered.

So those cannot be considered a 'HACK'.

I think HACKED/MODDED AeroGlass on windows 8 - 8.1 is more dangerous to system files, than removing a watermark

 

You obviously don´t get it! The sophisticated nature of these both supersedes any hacking.

So, If I load this up is OFFICE 2013 out all together? It can't be activated? Usually if you don't activate you get that red bar and everything is Read-Only.

 

As it uses same activation channel as the OS, which is V6 now...answer unfortunately is YES.

 

There's been some reference to KMS v5 vs. v6 and that being the difference between (current and future) successful activations. Can someone point to a resource where it describes the difference in these activation versions or outline what the hindrance is with V6.

We don't know what the differences are yet. The leak has only been out for a few days.
We just know that the current activators don't work with them.
It could be a few days or a few months before someone gets something going.

We might even have a vm intermediate step in there somewhere. Who knows man?

 

LOL yeah, had to dust off the old technet keys for office so I could use this build. Oh well, hopefully this v6 stuff gets sorted soon.
