I understand that, but that's about as basic as you can get, having your own browser work on your own homepage.
It's also not a public release, MS don't have to have their site working in any other build than RTM, Preview and leaked builds are bound to have problems, they are unfinished code, who knows why it's not working, it could be to do with the OS itself, or maybe MS need to update their site for IE11 You can't expect leaks to work 100%, if they did, they would be RTM, and you can't complain about them not working either, you're not supposed to be running it
Once again, I understand that, and I appreciate your original reply that others are having issues as well and it was not just me.
I have always activated the built in Administrator account and used it as my login (and I always disable UAC) Since Windows 8, I have been using the Microsoft Account (email address) You pretty much have to. But How can I make the MS account act like the Admin account so I don't keep getting , "You need Administrator Permission to do this/that". I can't even write to the root of the local C: drive (I don't have access). Run as Admin works for somethings but not everything (e.g., deleting certain files) When you login as admin you get not of those restrictions.
Hmm...wasn´t able to upgrade any of my Win 8 VMs to 9471 so far. Always breaks with 'key could not be verified' error . So i started another test and created a ProWMC of the new build (has to be done in Preview or the Leak after installing the new adk) and installed in VM. Entered one of my free ProWMC Keys and went the phone route. Result was a BINGO . Most probably this will work with the RTM likewise.
I always get Error 1305 or 1303 for the files. Windows Live! gives me Error: 0x80070643 (Source: soxe.definitions).
Preview is not the same build as this. This new build has kms v6. 8.0 has kms v5. Windows 8.x takes control over the office activation. If you install office 2013 on this build, you won't be able to activate it until someone cracks the kms v6.
