[LEAK] Windows 8.1 Update 2014 MSU (9600.16610.140201-1007) - Wzor

Could be anything, it's causing problems for different people in different ways, fingers crossed its fixed before April

 

Thats why its called Release Candidate. It happend to me a couple of times on my main machine. Thankfully, I did a restore point before install this crap.

 

EFA11 YOUR MISTAKE IS TO UPDATE LEAK with 2 updates
ROLLUP1 or RTM + WZOR updates = LEAK
is a nonsens to update leak with WZOR updates

 

If you update from the ESD file you downloaded from the M$ store, there wouldn't be any problem.

 

@fakiee @guyys help me tday reupgraded from 8.1 up 1 to rtm then installed the msu files sucesfully installed but sadly i cannt add my wmc key


i added default wmc without activating pro then add my wmc key everytym i do lik that this time i get error like key didnt work try diff key if i activate pro via kms il add feature eget disabled so i believe i can active using phone method but not able to add temme any way " pm me "

AFAIK you can't Upgrade Pro Retail to ProWMC without activating Pro First.

Have you Backup your activation before?
if you have, you can Mod your RTM Pro Installer to ProfessionalWMC.
ReInstall your PC with full driver installed, Restore your Activation file and Key
and you will get "Activated ProWMC"

then, to Install this leaked Update, you must Install all RollUp Update needed for this.

Well, well, well, I tried Paul, but crash. I have done everything wel (I think), but error: "kmode exception not handled(klif.sys)".

 

I followed the instructions and after installing i restarted PC then i get BSOD error "unexpected kernel mode trap" any solution?

 

Did you use activation tokens from a win 8 or a win 8.1 systems, as you need them from the latter?

 

if you made a backup you can easily restore to previous version and nothing has changed. You even can uninstall these latest updates which is very rare these days !!

please allow a loud laughter. I'm known as a "friend" of such crap and please don't ask me upon misbehavior of OSes when any kind of AV-BS was used. Uninstall all that s**t with tools from manufacturer's sites or make a new install of windoze

guys I integrated the latest update files to my 8.1 iso and it installed fine, didn't have to do anything after! and it booted to desktop by default

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but this is my personal experience regarding the MSU update.
Note that I started with a fully updated system before even messing with the MSU updates.

1) Updated the smaller service stack update
2) Updated the large update

After rebooting and doing a /resetbase command, I checked Windows Update again.
The only update was a defender update.

So if you're doing it correctly, you shouldn't have any weird updates showing up on Windows Update.

 

in a nutshell, started with a fully updated 8.1 iso, followed tutorials on this site to integrate activated tokens and stuff and wmc key, used that along with dism commands to add packages, end result was a activated iso with all the updates

 

Ok so you integrated all of the current updates + these two msu's via DISM on an offline image and it worked? I thought it would but I got confused when wzor's instructions said otherwise.
