I don't know if it's been mentioned, but this is my personal experience regarding the MSU update. Note that I started with a fully updated system before even messing with the MSU updates. 1) Updated the smaller service stack update 2) Updated the large update After rebooting and doing a /resetbase command, I checked Windows Update again. The only update was a defender update. So if you're doing it correctly, you shouldn't have any weird updates showing up on Windows Update.
in a nutshell, started with a fully updated 8.1 iso, followed tutorials on this site to integrate activated tokens and stuff and wmc key, used that along with dism commands to add packages, end result was a activated iso with all the updates
Ok so you integrated all of the current updates + these two msu's via DISM on an offline image and it worked? I thought it would but I got confused when wzor's instructions said otherwise.
i installed both .msu updates... on my single language Windows 8.1... by the momento there isn't any problema... everythings Works and i can see taskbar in Metro Apps, turn off button, etc. No problems by now! thx
Hi all, i have to say that yesterday i have installed Update 1 for 8.1 and all is working fine except that i'm hearing sometimes a "usb disconnected sound" and i didn't have this before, so i don't know if this has to do with incompatiblity drivers with 8.1 or not ?

Total mess for me. Stuck at 1st start up with black screen and white cursor, let it sit for a while then reset and it booted up. I could open some Modern Apps like Weather and News and Store but not run Stores Update Apps. I could not open Task Manager/ Desktop IE/ Windows Mail or most of my programs, it would simply hang and would not restart without a reset using case button. System restored was fine though. I read some guy had issues with ESS 7 with it, that could be why as its icon was spinning scanning startup files each time. Either that or due to fact I have not activated this one week old install yet as its temporary till my SSD arrives from RMA. I am not really bothered but wonder why it was messed up.
I've installed the x86 and x64 versions on my tablet and desktop.... Any whispers on when a RT version might leak for my Surface 2?
Installation of both MSUs were went smooth. Followed the instruction given in torrent for upgrading and no glitches! Upgraded my Windows 8.1 Pro+ WMC (Retail license) and everything is working great! Thank you WZT team and everyone
I have tried on 5 different devices, with different OS Editions (Enterprise, Pro Retail, ProWMC and SL) EN 64bit, all goes well until now. do not know, why others have problems with this update? It's a good update, my system looks better than before.. Thank's to leaker.
Updated 3 different devices, followed the directions and all updated without any issues. I like the improvements.
