I've heard someone saying that skype had a problem after update, and it makes sense. If you think about it, skype probably verifies versions, and since the update isn't actually released to the public, the version of your os would be invalid. You could *try* it, but using any leaks and expecting perfect results would just be asking for trouble. Also, you could try uninstalling and re-installing if you have issues. It could be that it's just an older version of the app that is incompatible, and a fresh download would work.

To be more specific - he is freeing up space on his hdd or server or something he is using to store those isos of Win8.1 RTM. So, I'm guessing that a new repertoire is new isos. And looking at the size of Update 1 MSU it seems very logical that M$ will release new isos for easier deployment.
