PartNumbers of existing entries won't going to be changed, otherwise it would be an entirely another OS instead of an "not SP, not feature pack, something in between" and people's already installed keys would be non recognizable. PartNumbers are heavily used in products accounting also. So no. All keys will still work. But for the new SKUs obviously need other keys. WZ only said that which reads as "New special keys are needed to install the partner versions, old keys are incompatible! Because of that, these medias are unlikely to go public" So much fials. Firstly, it shall be obvious that you can't install an edition with a key of another edition. Perhaps by "standard keys" he meant the keys of the more widely used Professional SKU. Secondly, there are ways to install any SKU (if the wanted SKU is present in the image) without having keys, or even without knowing the default key or inputting one during installation. Sooooo noobish and unprofessional. Not the first time he fials.
Could someone explain why even after this latest update KUC or Komm's Update Checker continues to detect new updates? It detected 15 updates... Should I install them on top of this update or not?
That was always present, and in the pkeyconfig of even Win8.0. The last Starter that was actually released, was Windows 7 Starter. Since Windows 8, the Starter SKU is only used as a base SKU for servicing purposes only, and for evaluation of component licensing purposes. Because all Win81 builds have the same foundation package. And no, because all of these updates are superseded already. That's just an update for printer INFs, delta 16459.
There is actually one update that can be installed - KB2900635 but all others were refused. I take it should avoid that update also.
update 2 this feature included on 17025 bcoz i saw some leaked screenshots in wzor on 17024 bing edition
