that was through windows update. It needed ticked since it was unchecked by default apparently. It will not install without you doing so.
Is the same here...but let us stop this off-topic here.We have another threads where we cn speak about transparency or other...Excuses to other members, please forgive us!
OK, I eventualy activated Office 2013 using KMSPico, but it used to be activated with SECO Injector and other activators that no longer work! JATD activation also did not work... It always displays Office KMS info as "empty". As far as this update goes - there are pre-requisites that are supposed to be installed (rollup packages). I forgot to install them this time-around, but I did downloaded all Windows Updates, and then downloaded even more with Komm's Update Checker. Then I made a system image backup before messing with Escrow. Would downloaded ALL updates from Windows Update and KUC be equivalent of downloading those rollup packages? The installation of Escrow went fine, but I wonder if I should restore my previous system image, and then use those rollup packages first... I just thought they were the same exact updates on Windows Update but rolled together in a few files... or not???????
so I wonder why you didn't get the unticked update offer through official channel. I got it on all my machines without exception but I must say that all my office 15 copies are original versions activated using MSDN/Technet keys ... no VL or such
I don't think the term "SP1" shows up like it did in older versions of Windows and Office. It didn't on my two systems, both TechNet key activated. ETA: I did one via Windows Update, 1 via d/l file "I downloaded and install the SP1 but I don't see "Sp1". I have the same build number like here." IF you are referring to EFA11's image, I suspect that "Sp1" was put the by him/her, could be wrong though.
sorry but I misunderstood it, thought you didn't get it at all. Anyway, I see no difference in gett'n files through the official WU channel or first d/l and then install
