that's what I got also and I dl mine from wzor twitter page XD I think were doing something wrong lol
No - this is an update (similar to what is normally sent via WU) but as a standalone installer (that's what the MSU format actually is). It's designed for application to an existing Windows 8.1 install of the apropos bitness.
Upgrade two Machines on live hardware Didn't Blow Up get the hammer out and hit a few times it may work then!!!
I must have a magic VM? lol dunno guys no problems here. -ed- although kb2919355 did take a little while to install. 100% disk use on and off
Tried to update on a running 8.1 image. Installed the smallest update before then the big one. I didn't restart the machine after the first update becouse it didn't ask me to do that. After the second one it asked for a reboot: i did and everything went fine. No errors so far. Sadly you still can't show the taskbar again after it disappears when you choose an already opened metro app. For the rest, nothing to report atm.
Install went fine, no problems here. Not a whole lot different except for pinning Modern Apps to taskbar. Has anyone tried using BigMuscles AeroGlass for windows on it?
Is the shutdown button still there on the start screen? Tom Warren just posted a shot of it not being there which I find rather odd.
Your problem is choosing a metro app in the first place . Their are free apps out there that will do a better job and you can window them. As of 1995 I would suggest download.com. Have not visited the M$ store yet is it an exciting place to be? Regards
LOL.. AFAIK.. Metro mouse click support (context menus, closing apps etc) and some IE enterprise stuff... meh I'd like to know how much value this does add tho'.. not being facetious at all.. but not being a Modern UI/Store/IE user, just interested to hear opinions nevertheless :
