Ladies & Gents, I am trying to update the BIOS of my W700. However, my battery is dead. Will using a "no whitelist" modded BIOS skip the battery check? If so, I will proceed to the BIOS Mod Requests forum. If not, is it possible to Mod a BIOS update file to specifically skip the battery check? Other solutions I have found instruct booting from a windows 98 USB stick and executing "flash2.exe /u". After extracting the file 7zuj23u6.exe (the latest w700 BIOS update), I can't find that file or any .ROM file. Only .FL1 and .FL2 files. I might be missing something here... Your help is greatly appreciated. Regards,
