Lenovo g400 crashes

    Hi,Need some help please i was updating the energy management driver by using driver genius..in the middle of instalation of energy management driver my laptop suddenly blue screen and restarted,after restarted the blue screen appears again an it will automatically restart..can you help me please how to fix this.

    Driver Reviver is the highest rated of these programs and it hasn't been a problem for me. But I do agree that in general, I make sure to have a backup image ready, just in case.

    OP - If you know where the driver is located, you can try booting from another device, then delete the bad driver. It should boot without that particular driver. Only other option is Lenovo's One Key Recovery feature, which means a default install of the OS.

    Again, smlm17's advice is best. If your drivers are working (Device Manager is clean) then leave them alone unless you know for certain an update is approved and known to work.
