    for a ID substitution in whitelist i need the EXACT and FULL PCI ID (like PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4237&SUBSYS_12118086) and not this kind of mixed salad. Try to hot plug the new wlan card after boot and see in device manager if the card is recognize.

    I don't know which one I couldn't get it to show up in the device manager anymore but I found these on the internet.

    I don't think it is this one but it was also listed PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4238&SUBSYS_11118086

    I did, I even reflashed it with the standard bios and hot plugged it in that. I guess I could reinstall windows because it might have stopped showing up in windows after I install the drivers for it.

    this bios mod is not from my own, i will have a look and will gives you instructions.

    edit: finally i prefer create a new mod ( a bootable ISO image for flashing from DOS).
