I donwloaded T43p-1YET65WW_SLIC2.1_no_1802_no_2010.iso to patch the bios of my T43 Type 2668-4NG. At the end of the flashing process I got a red error screen and the message "Undefined error nr. -28640". PC still boots ok. No operational problems so far.
    Is this normal?
    Tx and regards
    Rudi

the proof that it was not a good idea to use $01C8000.FL2 as a template.
There is no known recovery method for EFI phoenix bios for the moment.
Lenovo support is the only way.

I try to recovery my corrupted BIOS of T420, but no luck. What I did is like the following steps:

I made a Boot-able thumb drive using wincrsis in your package after I format my 1G thumb drive.

Then I did the following steps:

    1) remove power adapter and battery of T420.
    2) plug in thumb drive mentioned above into left side USB port.
    3) hold pressing Fn + B always
    4) plug in power adapter and power on T420
    5) LEDs are on (blue-tooth, volume, CapsLK), then LEDs are off (Volume, CapsLK)
    6) CPU Fan is noisy after 10 seconds
    7) LED of Volume is On again after 5 seconds
    8) Power off by itself after seconds.

After I checked it, it still not working

    @TTAV134:
I want to use your "T43p-1YET65WW_SLIC2.1_no_1802_no_2010.iso" for my T43-7668-44U Thinkpad, just to solve the 2010 disk error.
Will it cause any problems with my existing OEM Windows XP Pro activation/validation?
In other words, does this mod preserve the original SLP1.0 that was in the IBM 1.29 BIOS (which is my current BIOS)?
I can't find any confirmation of this after a lot of searching.
Also the iso image doesn't include the ph161700.exe file executed in the bat file. Is the iso corrupted? I got it off the link in this thread.
    Thanks for your help.

Ok, I'll open this up to anybody who has fixed their BIOS for the T43 2010 disk error:
I see that a lot of you reported successful use of Win7 on this machine, but has anybody
tried the "T43p-1YET65WW_SLIC2.1_no_1802_no_2010.iso" on a T43 with an original IBM factory install of Windows XP Pro?
If so, did you have any trouble with Windows activation/validation afterward?
    Thanks in advance.
