Thank you, friend. I did like this: copy all files to USB boot boot to Dos type: CLRMARKER.bat SETMARKER.bat But he says, the error command. Tell me, what am I doing wrong?
up to u,it's enable slic to be preinstalled windows machine, after that u can update newer officials original bios anytime w/o mod.
Thx a lot mate, I updated with official BIOS first , Aida64 still showed me SLIC 2.1, but I used that marker just for sure. Everything's fine, thx again
Hi there, since I'm also in desperate search of any version of a modded BIOS (whitelist removed) I'm begging for a re-upload. I just did the system update and with this came the updated BIOS 1.47. Now I cant use my cards anymore. I have a Backup File that was created by the system update but this one cant be flashed with WinPhlash (incorrect checksum) due to Lenovo specific Format/Compression I guess, because it has exactly the same size as the FL2 File included in the Lenovo BIOS (from sys upd) Trying to use WINTPUPD (or however its called) says that the system BIOS is newer than the file and that i wont do anything. Hope anyone can help me with either the reuploaded BIOS or a modded version of The Lenovo Updater that will flash the file regardless od version. Another solution was flashing an older ROM with winPhlash and afterwards use The Lenovo Flasher to flash the BAK. Thx in Advance
Could anybody tell me, if theres a chance of getting such a BIOS? Cause nobody seems to know or have anything. Regards...
Thanks, Serg. It works. Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between this winflash and the DOS flash?
Problems updating my BIOS Hi, I'm having a problem updating the BIOS on my T43 (2668A1U) with the SLIC2.1, as suggested. It starts well with the BIOS update using a CD but at the end of the process I get a error number -28640 and it stops. Asks to restart the system with a crisis diskette and freezes with a sound. After I reboot it goes on with the 2010 error messsage and checking the BIOS it remains without the SLIC2.1. What should I do? I'm trying to use a Samsung 160GB IDE HD HM160HD to replace the original 60GB Travelstar Hitachi. Please help!
