    Thanks akcent for your quick response. I can't use usb stick currently. I have floppy however. Would I just take out the HPQUSB.exe file and put on floppy. Boot to dos and command> PHLASH16.EXE or BIOSMOD??

    Ok, how do I get the whitelist removed? Do I have to put in another BIOS mod request to have the whitelist removed? Thanks Serg for taking the time to answer my myriad of questions.
