Flashed and used slic toolkit and looks fine. however i have a question. Im currently on vista business. Can I just go ahead and install windows 7 clean install and be ok or do I have to flash this again once I install win7? im a newbie and confused at how the cert works.
You have already successfully checked the Lenovo SLIC table with SLIC Toolkit, so you haven't to flash the bios again. SLIC will be "permanent" until you update again the bios with a newer version. I have removed the WiFi whitelist too, so you are free to install a different wireless card, if the current one do not satisfiy you. Make a Windows 7 fresh install, when asked do not enter any key and complete the setup. Then use Daz Loader, it will detect the SLIC table in memory and will install the proper cert and key ONLY.
